Cookies & Local Storage

Last updated February 2026

NimiCard keeps browser storage to a minimum. We do not run advertising networks, third-party trackers or cross-site profiling.

What we store

  • Sign-in session: stored by the authentication provider so you stay logged in to your dashboard. Strictly necessary.
  • Anonymous visitor identifier: a random value saved on a public card page so unique visitors can be estimated. It is hashed with a server-side secret before storage and contains no personal data.

What we do not store

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking pixels.
  • Third-party analytics scripts that profile individuals.

Managing storage

You can clear site data at any time from your browser settings. Clearing it signs you out of the dashboard and resets the anonymous visitor identifier; engagement counts still work, the visit is simply counted as a new visitor.

Embedded content

A card owner may embed a video or link to a booking tool. Those third parties may set their own cookies when their content loads. Their policies apply to that content.
